Before operation, please pour lubricating oil into machine, then move the Reversing lever so as to make oil pervade inside.

a. Attach the hook of the machine to a suitable anchorage point by sling.
b. To release the unit, pull Rope release lever into the notched position, and incline Operating lever away from the hook.
c. After releasing the machine, insert the tapered end of the rope into the rope entry and push it thru until it emerges at Rope exit.
d. Pull the wire rope through by hand to take up the slack, and ensure that Rope exit is not obstructed.
e. To engage the machine on the rope, lift Release lever 2 from the notched position and allow it to spring back to its natural position.
f. Place the telescopic handle onto either Operating lever and Reversing lever, depending on whether forward or reverse action is required. The machine is now ready for use.
