Specialties

With a high-hardened special alloy steel load chain.

- Lock proof
If the handle is locked under a short load, the lock-releasing mechanism acts to set the handle free to move

- Responsive handle
In all models, 6 pinion gear teeth and 4 load sheave pawls offer a large speed reduction ratio. The handle is by far more responsive.

- Short handle
The short handle with a short stroke ensures the highest working efficiency even in a narrow space.

- Easy of quick return, and safe
The two-step "conscious" operation of pushing the positive lever and pulling the grip ring helps prevent the accident of dropping the load due to a careless operation

- Non-bending side plate
The load-bearing side plate is independent of the brake support so that the side plate is protecte against warping due to a local concentration of forces.

- Rugged frame
Since one side is rigidly secured with a rivet-type stay bolt, the frame is sturdy and free of displacement which is a disadvantage of other levers.

1. Depress the Lock Lever until it hits the bottom and pull the grip ring towards you.
2. The chain can be adjusted up and down by hand.
3. To terminat the idling, set the change lever to the down position

Then depressing the lock lever as far as it goes, push the grip ring gently so as to let the lever engage the outer edge of the lever.

Thereafter, grip the grip ring and handle with a single hand, push them in as it is rotated counterclockwise.

The lock lever returns to the original position.

Maintenance & Inspection

To Operate lever hoist
Set change lever in desired direction, UP and DOWN, and operate handle back and forth to move load in desired direction. Do not move chain to the extreme end in either direction. Brake is always active, regardless of direction of movement. However, do not attach a load to the puller when puller is in free-wheeling mode, and never put the puller in free-wheeling position when a load is attached.

To adjust chain length a short distance,
a. For a short distance, refer to Figure 1, setting change lever in central position and turn grip ring by hand.
b. For major adjustment, refer to Figure 2a, 2b, 2c.
- Figure 2a: Depress retaining pawl with finger and pull grip ring outward. Let pawl return to original position
- Figure 2b: Adjust freely in either direction
- Figure 2c: Set change lever in DOWN position. While depressing retaining pawl as far as it goes, push grip ring gently to let pawl engage outer edge of retaining plate. Grasp ring and handle lever with one hand and push in while rotating handle lever clockwise. Retaining pawl is now in original position and free-wheeling or idling is terminated.

To test Brake
Lift a light load and set it down a few times to test for brake slippage. If the rotational play of the grip ring is excessive, adjust brake.
